Quattr MCP at work · Search trends
Why are impressions up but clicks flat?
Impressions rise while clicks stay flat when new visibility lands where searchers do not click: results on page two, questions Google now answers at the top of the page, broader searches with little buying interest, or titles that no longer match what people typed. The fix is usually your listing, not more rankings.
The recording below is the whole workflow: 2 ordinary questions, asked in an AI chat with Quattr connected.
Can your search data tell you what to do next?

This run
In this video, it turns twelve weeks of Search Console data into a trend read and three ranked moves.
What the run returned
The numbers set the scope of the problem; the decision names the work that moves it.
Run the same analysis in a Quattr-connected AI chat
Two prompts, copied exactly as written; the video shows what comes back.
Requires the Quattr MCP connection to read your organization's data. The prompt alone will not return your numbers.
- Prompt 1 How did our organic search really do over the last 12 weeks? Chart the trend and tell me what to act on.
- Prompt 2 Good. Now give me clicks vs impressions as one bigger chart for Monday's deck.
How Quattr produced the answer
An ordinary question, answered from your own named sources.

Why are you getting impressions but not clicks?
Five causes; each with the sign that reveals it and the fix that moves it.
01New impressions land on page two
Positions 11 to 20 earn a fraction of page-one clicks, so visibility grows while traffic stands still; it is the most common cause. You will see average position above 10 and improving. The fix: internal links and a page update, to move pages ranking 8 to 20 onto page one.
02Google answers before your listing
An AI Overview, an answer box or a People Also Ask panel answers first, and the searcher stops needing the click. You will see position holding while click-through falls on key queries. The fix: structured, direct answers that make you the source the Overview cites.
03Growth came from broader searches
Broad, question-style searches add impressions but click far less than buying searches. You will see unique queries growing faster than impressions. The fix: answer those questions on the page, or stop chasing searches the page cannot satisfy.
04Titles no longer match the query
The page ranks; the listing gets skipped. You will see normal positions with unusually low click-through. The fix: rewrite the title to say what the searcher typed, the one fix that works the same afternoon.
05Brand searches held; the rest grew
People searching your brand name almost always click you, so growth elsewhere drags the overall rate down. You will see brand searches steady while other impressions grow. The fix: report the two separately, so a mix shift never reads as a decline.

0Okay, watch this. What if you could just ask your search data what to do next?
9And look at this part. While it's thinking, it is pulling 12 weeks of real data before it says a
15single word. All of it through the Quattr MCP. And there it is. Impressions up 20%.
24Clicks flat. CTR slipping. And it tells you what's going on, not just the numbers.
32And here's my favorite part. It hands you three moves,
36fix the click-through gap, push the pages sitting just off page one,
40and double check that last jump is real. Now I want this for Monday's deck. So I just ask.
48Give it a second. It's laying both metrics onto one canvas.
54And there's the chart. Click steady. Impressions climbing right past them.
1:00That gap? Traffic you can still go get.
1:05And that's the Quattr MCP, your whole search picture right inside the AI you already use.
Frequently asked questions
Were the numbers in the video real?
This video is recreated from an anonymized session: the interaction is faithful to a real run on a connected account, and the figures shown have been changed or are illustrative rather than a customer’s own numbers.
Can the Quattr MCP run this exact check on my site?
Yes. Connect Quattr to your AI chat once, then paste the two prompts above. You get the same cards and charts built from your own numbers, usually in under a minute.
Do I need to export anything from Search Console first?
No. The assistant queries the connected Quattr account directly and prints the scope and the date range on the card it returns. The two prompts on this page are the whole workflow. You do need a Quattr account for the connection to return your data, which is what the demo sets up.
Where do these prompts run?
In any AI chat that can use connectors (the standard is called MCP). The prompt never names Quattr; the connection is what routes the question to your data, which is why it reads like an ordinary question.
What data can the Quattr MCP read?
Search Console clicks, impressions and rankings, web analytics, paid search, search market share against competitors, AI visibility across assistants, and Core Web Vitals. Every answer is pulled live from the connected account, so the numbers match what your dashboards show.
Find out what your impressions are hiding
Connect Quattr once and the same two prompts chart your own twelve weeks, show where the new visibility lands, and hand back the moves, ranked.
