5 best Claude MCPs & ChatGPT plugins for SEO analytics (2026)
SEO analytics inside an AI tool is a trust question. What may the assistant read? And who vouches for the math? The five here range widely. Enterprise platform workspaces sit at one end. A governed analyst over your own first-party data sits at the other.
Ranked on
- First-party grounding Does it answer from accounts you own: Search Console, analytics, ads, logs? Or from a third-party index and modeled estimates?
- Governed analyses & statistics Does the server run defined analyses with significance gates? Those gates stop a thin sample reading as a confident answer. Or does it hand your assistant raw rows to assemble and judge itself?
- Provenance on every answer Does each answer carry its scope and a freshness date? Can you click back to the source?
- Tracked-set vs account-wide scope Do answers cover only pre-configured keywords, topics and competitors? Or everything in the account you connected? The difference decides which questions you can even ask.
- AI surface separation Google's on-SERP AI Overviews and answer-engine citations are two surfaces. Check that each is reported on its own. Merged into one number, the distinction is lost.
Our entry is in this list. We publish it, and rank 1 is ours, so read the criteria first and the competitor entries on their own terms. Each is described from its public documentation, with what it does better than us stated where it does.
How this was checked
- Verification window
- Aug 2 to Aug 8, 2026
- Read for every entry
-
- each vendor's own product documentation
- release notes and changelogs
- published pricing and metering pages
- documented client-support matrices
If a vendor's own docs don't mention a feature, we mark it "not documented." That's a gap in what's published, not a verdict that the feature is missing. Where their docs contradicted a claim we carried, we changed the claim.
What is in, and what is not
Qualified for this list
- The server or ChatGPT app is built and operated by the vendor whose data it exposes. Community wrappers did not qualify.
- The vendor publishes enough of its own material to verify two things. What the server reads, and how access is metered.
Looked at and left out
- DataForSEO MCP, Raw SERP and index API access, not an analytics workspace over your own site's performance.
- Community Search Console MCP servers, Community wrappers around one API; no vendor operates, supports or documents them.
- Google's official Analytics MCP, Reads one analytics property; no search market or AI-answer surfaces in the same plane.
The ranking

1
Quattr MCP + plugin Ours, bias disclosed Best for: trustworthy answers on your own program
One control plane for AI and traditional search. It runs 58 governed analyses over your first-party data. Governed means pre-built analyses with locked definitions. The sources: GSC (incl. BigQuery), GA4/Adobe named goals, Google Ads, AI-agent logs, tracked search market share and AI visibility. The taxonomy engine reads your own labels for content, demand and conversions. Answers come back as cards, with provenance on every number and deep-links.
- 58 governed analyses that resolve your entities before filtering. About 96% of real questions never name a tool.
- Taxonomy engine: your categories, intents, and named goals
- Significance tests that return a verdict, holdout designs, and growth-vs-share decomposition. That last one separates a moving market from your share of it.
- Interactive cards carry scope, freshness, and deep-links. An ⚠ Observational chip marks numbers as observed, not causal.
Consider
- Reads the accounts you connect. There is no third-party index for domains you do not own.
- The analyses are fixed. You compose questions against them rather than writing arbitrary queries.

2
Semrush MCP Best for: index-scale analytics on any domain
Semrush's official remote MCP exposes their public APIs to AI clients over OAuth 2.1. The tools return keyword, traffic, backlink and market estimates from the Semrush index. That index is the product. Reading the outside market is the job here, not reading connected accounts.
- The broadest third-party index for domains you don't own
- Mature docs and wide official client support, including a ChatGPT app
Consider
- Consumes API units per call, from a Semrush plan with API access. No free tier is documented.
- Reads the Semrush index plus read-only Projects data. An index tool reads the outside market. Your own Search Console and analytics accounts are not sources.

3
seoClarity MCP Best for: enterprise workspace, verified math
seoClarity's MCP servers plug your workspace into ChatGPT, Claude or internal LLMs. ArcAI is their AI-search visibility product. LiveWire is the layer that pipes its data into outside AI tools. What comes through: rank intelligence, search demand, content gaps, brand mentions, answer-engine citations. Metrics arrive per engine or aggregated, across nine AI engines. Math is verified server-side before results reach the model.
- No per-seat or per-call charges. Included with the subscription
- Server-side math verification before results reach the LLM
Consider
- Included with a seoClarity subscription. No standalone license for LiveWire or the MCP is documented.
- No public tool list or setup guide is published. Access begins with a demo or trial-token request.

Conductor MCP
Best for: enterprise AEO workspace in chat
Conductor's official MCP grounds assistants in your tracked configuration: topics, brands, competitors, personas. Answers cover AI search and tracked-keyword insights. Results are deterministic, in what Conductor calls 'split reasoning'. The model handles the conversation while their API supplies the facts, so the two stay distinguishable.
- Native ChatGPT and Copilot apps on the same MCP infrastructure
- SOC 2 Type 2, ISO 27001 and ISO 42001 posture, with a no-model-training commitment
Consider
- Answers cover only the topics, prompts, brands and competitors already tracked in your Conductor account.
- Documented at 30 requests per hour per user. Plan-allocated tool calls pause when the allocation is spent.
- Requires an active Conductor subscription with MCP access, plus a paid ChatGPT or Claude plan.

5
BrightEdge MCP
Best for: live enterprise workspace reads
BrightEdge's official MCP gives read-only, live access to your account. That covers Keyword Reporting, Share of Voice, analytics and connected Search Console. Two index datasets come with it. DataCube X is their large-scale keyword and ranking index. AI HyperCube is their AI-search demand and intent dataset.
- Ten documented client guides, including a ChatGPT plugin and a Slack app
- Live account reads, read-only by design
Consider
- OAuth credentials are provisioned by your Customer Success Manager or support. An existing BrightEdge account is required.
- Not documented: usage limits, quotas or per-call metering for MCP requests.
- Retrieves data only. The documentation states nothing in your BrightEdge account is modified.

Side by side
Every entry against the same five criteria. Not documented means the vendor's own material does not address it, a gap in what is published, not a judgement about what the product can do.
| Product | First-party grounding | Governed analyses & statistics | Provenance on every answer | Tracked-set vs account-wide scope | AI surface separation |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Quattr MCP + plugin trustworthy answers on your own program | Connected accounts only, GSC, GA4/Adobe, Google Ads, logs; no third-party index. | Governed and fixed, significance gating returns a verdict, not arbitrary queries. | Cards carry scope, freshness and deep-links back to the source report. | Account-wide on connected sources; AI-visibility prompt baskets need a tracked set first. | Separate surfaces, Google AI Overviews distinct from answer-engine citations. |

| BrightEdge MCP live enterprise workspace reads | Live account reads plus connected Search Console, alongside DataCube X index data. | Not documented | Not documented | Account-wide live reads at query time; DataCube X extends beyond your account. | Not documented |
Test one of these in an afternoon
- Connect one server to your assistant. Ask for last month's organic clicks on a single page.
- Then ask where that number came from. The account you connected, or the vendor's own index?
- A trustworthy answer names the scope and date range. It states the data's freshness. It links back to the source report.
- Then ask for something the tool cannot have, like a competitor's revenue. A refusal that names the missing source beats a plausible number.

Change history
- Aug 19, 2026 Fact-audit pass. Every claim on this page was re-verified against its primary source and all of them held, so no ranking, criterion or entry changed. Conductor's own MCP FAQ confirms the documented limit of thirty requests per hour per user, the pre-allocated tool calls that pause rather than bill an overage, and the requirement for a paid assistant plan alongside a Conductor subscription; its product page confirms split reasoning, the ISO 42001 and SOC 2 Type 2 posture, and the commitment that data flowing through the server is not used for public model training. seoClarity still tracks nine AI engines, and LiveWire still verifies its math on seoClarity infrastructure before results reach the model. BrightEdge still documents ten client guides including a ChatGPT plugin and a Slack app, still describes the connection as retrieving data only with nothing in the account modified, still provisions OAuth credentials through a Customer Success Manager, and still publishes no usage limits, which is why this page marks that as not documented rather than absent. Semrush still meters API units against a paid plan with no free tier and still exposes Projects data read-only.
- Aug 17, 2026 Re-verified every documentation claim against each vendor's current material and corrected 1 where their own docs contradicted us (seoClarity MCP). Each correction credits a capability we had marked absent. Rewrote the prose for readability against the house voice guide. No ranking, criterion or verified claim changed in that pass.
- Aug 8, 2026 Re-verified every written entry against vendor documentation. Added documented considerations to each one including our own, ranking criteria specific to this list with a definition apiece, the verification window and sources, inclusion criteria, and a side-by-side table.
