5 best Claude MCPs & ChatGPT plugins for SERP market share (2026)
Search market share is worth paying for when it answers one thing. Of the demand you care about, who captures it? And is that moving? These five put a defensible version of that question inside your AI tool. Each one uses a different denominator.
Ranked on
- First-party grounding Does it answer from accounts you own: Search Console, analytics, ads, logs? Or from a third-party index and modeled estimates?
- Governed analyses & statistics Does the server run defined analyses with significance gates? Those gates stop a thin sample reading as a confident answer. Or does it hand your assistant raw rows to assemble and judge itself?
- Provenance on every answer Does each answer carry its scope and a freshness date? Can you click back to the source?
- Denominator stated in writing Ask what the percentage divides by. Your tracked keywords, a competitor list you configure, or a vendor panel? Get that answer before trusting any comparison.
- Click model made explicit Positions become estimated clicks through a CTR curve or a panel model. Does the tool name which one? And does it label the output as an estimate?
Our entry is in this list. We publish it, and rank 1 is ours, so read the criteria first and the competitor entries on their own terms. Each is described from its public documentation, with what it does better than us stated where it does.
How this was checked
- Verification window
- Aug 2 to Aug 8, 2026
- Read for every entry
-
- each vendor's own product documentation
- release notes and changelogs
- published pricing and metering pages
- documented client-support matrices
If a vendor's own docs don't mention a feature, we mark it "not documented." That's a gap in what's published, not a verdict that the feature is missing. Where their docs contradicted a claim we carried, we changed the claim.
What is in, and what is not
Qualified for this list
- The server had to be the vendor's own documented MCP or ChatGPT app. Setup and access terms had to be published in their own material.
- It also had to return a competitive standing metric: search market share, visibility share or share of voice. Rank positions for one site were not enough.
Looked at and left out
- DataForSEO MCP, Exposes SERP and Labs endpoints, but no packaged market-share or share-of-voice metric, you build the denominator.
- Search Console-only MCP servers, Return your own clicks and positions with no competitor denominator, so no market-share view is possible.
- Ahrefs MCP, Not excluded on capability. Ahrefs' Rank Tracker MCP tools were unreachable at the original as-of date and never verified. Re-verified now: the competitors-stats endpoint returns a packaged share_of_voice field (and share_of_traffic_value) over your configured competitor set, exposed through the MCP on the same Lite-plan access as their other tools. That meets this list's own bar. Held out of the ranked table pending its own full write-up and side-by-side scoring, not because it fails the criteria.
The ranking

1
Quattr MCP + plugin Ours, bias disclosed Best for: share of your tracked demand
CTR-modeled search market share of tracked demand. Competitive standing is computed from your own first-party demand, and always labeled directional. Beside it sits Quattr's own classic Google SERP tracking, organic and ads in the results. Growth-vs-share decomposition splits a change two ways. How much did the market move? How much did your slice move?
- Competitor gaps, plus market-vs-share decomposition. That separates market movement from your own share of it
- Quattr's own classic Google SERP tracking, organic and ads in the results
- Computed from your first-party demand, always labeled directional
- Significance-gated verdicts on cards with scope, freshness, and deep-links. An ⚠ Observational chip marks numbers as observed, not causal. If a source is missing, it refuses and names it.
Consider
- Reads the accounts you connect. Share is CTR-modeled over tracked demand. There is no third-party index for domains you do not own.
- The analyses are fixed. You compose share questions against them, not arbitrary queries.

Similarweb MCP
Best for: panel-modeled share of any market
Similarweb's official remote MCP exposes their panel-modeled datasets. SERP Players names the top websites driving search traffic for a keyword or list. SERP Clicks trends and any domain's click-driving keywords come with it.
- 75+ endpoints of market estimates across traffic, keywords, apps and retail
- Documented client guides across Claude, Cursor, ChatGPT, Copilot and Perplexity
Consider
- Requires a Similarweb plan with API access: API-only, Business or Enterprise. It consumes the same data credits as the REST API.
- Credits are charged per result returned. Cost scales with the domains, countries, granularity and time range a prompt touches.
- Reads Similarweb's own estimated datasets. That is a panel model of the outside market. Your Search Console and analytics accounts are not the source.

3 Advanced Web Ranking MCP
Best for: visibility share from tracked rankings
Advanced Web Ranking's remote MCP ships 48 tools. They cover rankings, visibility and market-share analysis. SERP analysis tracks volatility and feature changes. AI-search performance is in there too.
- Visibility-score trends and market-share analysis beside live and historical SERPs
- OAuth 2.1 by default, with revocable MCP-scoped API keys as fallback
Consider
- Their share figure divides your estimated visits by the total for competitors in your project. So the denominator is the set you configure.
- MCP access starts on paid plans from Agency up. The docs list no MCP option below that tier.
- Ranking data comes from keywords you track, metered in keyword units. Daily refresh consumes more units than the weekly baseline.

AccuRanker MCP
Best for: read-only share of voice
AccuRanker's remote MCP is strictly read-only. It exposes rank-tracking data: rank history, SERP details, Share of Voice, traffic value. On an active AccuLLM plan it also reads AccuLLM data. That add-on tracks how brands appear and get cited in LLM answers.
- Share of Voice and SERP detail. The server cannot create, edit or delete anything
- An official ChatGPT app built on the MCP, plus documented Claude and Perplexity setup
Consider
- Share of Voice covers the classic SERP. The basis is your tracked keywords in positions 1 to 20. Position CTR is multiplied by search volume.
- AI-visibility data requires an active AccuLLM plan. The rank-tracking subscription alone does not include it.
- Scope follows the connected login. Only domains and keywords already tracked in that account are readable. API access must be enabled first.

5
Semrush MCP Best for: index-scale market context
Semrush's official remote MCP exposes their public APIs over OAuth 2.1. Keyword, traffic and market estimates come from the Semrush index. The job is market context on any domain. Reading your own accounts is not part of it.
- The broadest third-party index for domains you don't own
- Mature docs and wide official client support, including a ChatGPT app
Consider
- Traffic and market estimates need a separate Trends API subscription. SEO API eligibility alone does not cover them.
- Consumes API units from an eligible Semrush subscription. The docs state no free tier and no additional MCP fee.
- Reads the Semrush index, which is what an index tool is for. Your Search Console and analytics accounts are not the source. The Projects API exposes read-only methods.

Side by side
Every entry against the same five criteria. Not documented means the vendor's own material does not address it, a gap in what is published, not a judgement about what the product can do.
| Product | First-party grounding | Governed analyses & statistics | Provenance on every answer | Denominator stated in writing | Click model made explicit |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Quattr MCP + plugin share of your tracked demand | Connected accounts only, Search Console, Ads, GA4, crawl and log feeds. | Fixed governed analyses, significance-gated verdicts; refuses with the reason when a source is missing. | Scope chips, ⚠ Observational, freshness and deep-links back to the source view. | CTR-modeled search market share of tracked demand, your own observed demand set. | CTR-modeled and labeled directional, the model is stated, not a measured click count. |
| Similarweb MCP panel-modeled share of any market | Similarweb's own estimated datasets, your Search Console and analytics accounts are not the source. | Endpoint reads across Web, Search and App Intelligence, no significance testing documented. | Docs caution AI-generated outputs may be incomplete or inaccurate; no per-answer provenance labeling documented. | Estimated from Similarweb's Search dataset, the denominator formula is not published in the docs. | Not documented |
| Advanced Web Ranking MCP visibility share from tracked rankings | Keywords you track in AWR projects, rankings collected for your configured search engines. | Tool-per-report reads across rankings, visibility and SERP analysis, no significance testing documented. | Ranking data carries collection dates; no per-answer provenance labeling documented for MCP replies. | Your estimated visits divided by total estimated visits of competitors in your project. | Click Share combines rankings with search frequency and click probability, adjustable for SERP features. |
| AccuRanker MCP read-only share of voice | Domains and keywords tracked in the connected AccuRanker account; scope follows that login. | Read-only reads of rank history, SERP details and KPI comparisons; no significance testing documented. | Not documented | Share of Voice from tracked keywords ranking 1 to 20; denominator basis not stated. | Average CTR for the position multiplied by each keyword's monthly search volume. |
| Semrush MCP index-scale market context | Semrush index and Trends data, your Search Console is not the source. | Endpoint reads across SEO, Trends and read-only Projects APIs; no significance testing documented. | Docs advise verifying AI responses before use; no per-answer provenance labeling documented. | Not documented | Not documented |
Test one of these in an afternoon
- Pick one keyword set you already care about. Connect two of these servers to the same AI client.
- Ask each the same question. What is our search market share for this set? And what exactly does the percentage divide by?
- A trustworthy answer names the scope and date range. It states freshness and labels the number as modeled. It links back to the source view.
- Then ask about a market you do not track. Which tool says it cannot answer, and why? Which returns a number anyway?

Change history
- Aug 19, 2026 Corrected a false unreachable-documentation claim found in fact-audit review. The Ahrefs MCP exclusion said vendor documentation was unreachable at the as-of date; Ahrefs' MCP and API docs were fetched live and are reachable. Re-verification also found their Rank Tracker competitors-stats endpoint returns a packaged share_of_voice metric via the MCP, on the same Lite-plan access as their other tools, which meets this list's own inclusion bar. The exclusion note now states that plainly and holds Ahrefs out of the ranked table only pending its own write-up and side-by-side scoring, not on a false capability gap. Whether to promote it to a ranked entry is an open editorial call, not resolved in this pass.
- Aug 17, 2026 Rewrote the prose for readability against the house voice guide. No ranking, criterion or verified claim changed in that pass.
- Aug 8, 2026 Re-verified every written entry against vendor documentation. Added documented considerations to each one including our own, ranking criteria specific to this list with a definition apiece, the verification window and sources, inclusion criteria, and a side-by-side table.
- Aug 2, 2026 First publication of the twelve lists.
