Keyword ranking and movement report
also called Keyword ranking reportRank movement reportRank tracking reportRanked pages reportGainers and losers
The position table and its deltas in one place: current average position and the page-one footprint for the tracked keyword set, plus the biggest gainers and losers between two periods with a significance annotation on each. Ranking and movement are kept in one family because the same boards carry both and the reader flips between them in one sitting. It answers what moved; the anomaly report answers why.

The metrics, in three tiers
Headline numbers carry the story. Diagnostics explain a headline that moved. Guardrails stop a wrong conclusion. Every row links to the definition, the formula, the caveats and what the metric is not all live on the metric page.

It reads the upper rungs only. If a lower rung is broken, fix that before you present this, a report that never checks whether pages can be reached will keep reporting movement that may not be yours.

What to say out loud when you present it
Average position from Search Console is impression-weighted, so a position 'improvement' can come entirely from losing low-position impressions rather than from ranking better. Keywords with a handful of impressions produce large, meaningless position swings, apply the impression floor before ranking movers. The BigQuery Search Console export surfaces many more low-volume queries than the API, so counts of ranked keywords are not comparable across the two.
