Search to revenue report

also called SEO ROI reportOrganic conversion reportSearch revenue attributionOrganic business impact

The R5 report: organic sessions, the conversions and revenue attributed to them, and the pages and query groups behind those outcomes. It runs from the analytics side rather than from Search Console because that is where the goals live, and it names the attribution model in the report rather than in a footnote. The pairing with visibility metrics is what makes 'ranks fine, converts nothing' visible.

The metrics, in three tiers

Headline numbers carry the story. Diagnostics explain a headline that moved. Guardrails stop a wrong conclusion. Every row links to the definition, the formula, the caveats and what the metric is not all live on the metric page.

It reads the upper rungs only. If a lower rung is broken, fix that before you present this, a report that never checks whether pages can be reached will keep reporting movement that may not be yours.

What to say out loud when you present it

Last-click attribution understates search's role in assisted paths, say which model produced the number before it goes in a deck. Pre-aggregated analytics exports and raw event feeds behave differently: totals from a pre-aggregated feed can be summed, unique-user style measures cannot, and mixing them inflates rates. Search Console clicks and analytics sessions will not reconcile, and presenting them as the same quantity is the most common error in this report.
