AI visibility report

also called AEO reportAnswer engine reportAI citation reportAI search standing

The answer-engine index: citation rate and share of voice against tracked rivals, the URLs actually cited, the prompts where you appear and the prompts where a rival does instead, cut per engine, because one blended number hides an engine you are absent from. This is the R3 report, and it is strictly separate from Google's on-SERP AI Overviews, which is a different surface measured a different way.

The metrics, in three tiers

Headline numbers carry the story. Diagnostics explain a headline that moved. Guardrails stop a wrong conclusion. Every row links to the definition, the formula, the caveats and what the metric is not all live on the metric page.

Method rungs covered

  • R1 Reachable , not covered
  • R2 Retrieved , not covered
  • R3 Referenced , covered
  • R4 Represented , covered
  • R5 Rewarded , not covered

It reads the upper rungs only. If a lower rung is broken, fix that before you present this, a report that never checks whether pages can be reached will keep reporting movement that may not be yours.

Why measurement is ordered →

Ask for it in one sentence

The prompt pack for this report, copy one, or watch it play in the simulator.

What to say out loud when you present it

Everything here is measured against a monitored prompt set, not all AI traffic, the prompt set defines the ceiling, so state its size. Citation rate and mention rate are different measures with different denominators, and share of voice weights citations above mentions, so the three will not reconcile arithmetically. Engines vary day to day on the same prompt; read the trend over weeks, not one run. Sentiment is instrumented for mentions only and does not yet cover positioning fidelity.
